Document Production Specialist
Job Description
- Contract Duration:Â 5-months
- Worksite Location:Â remote
- Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
What you will do as a Document Production Specialist:
- Review, edit, and proof Medicare member-facing documents, such as Evidence of Coverage (EOC), Annual Notice of Changes (ANOC), and Summary of Benefits (SB)
- Ensure content is accurate, well-formatted, and compliant with state, federal, and business language requirements
- Analyze benefit data to confirm accuracy in member contracts, notices, and documents
- Release finalized documents to print and web vendors for distribution
- Maintain detailed documentation of proofing results and regularly report production status to leadership
- Collaborate with team leads to resolve issues and improve workflows
- Contribute to updates of job aids, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and document enhancement initiatives
- Apply a high level of attention to detail and process improvement in a deadline-driven environment
What you will bring to the Document Production Specialist role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; English, Marketing, or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in proofreading, professional writing, business analysis, or auditing
- Excellent written, verbal, and editing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple software tools
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Experience with Excel and/or Smartsheet preferred
- Background in the HMO or insurance industry and familiarity with health benefits highly preferred
- Analytical mindset with a scientific or structured approach to problem-solving
