- Contract Duration: 12 months
- Worksite Location: Remote
What you’ll do as the Project Manager:
- Manage and lead the replacement of electrical switchgear and generators as part of a nationwide program
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between internal teams, stores, vendors, utility companies, and other external stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Program Owner to set up project schedules and track progress through execution
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope
- Coordinate and prioritize the various scopes of work involved in the projects
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints, ensuring compliance with national and local codes
- Manage change processes and ensure projects adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Track project progress and performance using tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, SAP, and Zoom
- Handle project risk management, time management, and delegation of tasks across teams
What you’ll bring to the Project Manger role:
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on electrical power distribution or power generation projects
- Experience with electrical construction, particularly in power distribution or power generation, is essential
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and familiarity with national codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association)
- Knowledge of local jurisdiction codes and the ability to navigate and apply them to projects
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information across different teams and functions
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and SAP
- Ability to collaborate, delegate, and manage change processes efficiently
