Job Description
As an Enrollment Specialist, you will:
- Maintain and update member data in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, COBRA, CMS, etc.).
- Monitor and process enrollment transactions from various sources including CMS, third-party vendors, and employer groups.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile enrollment discrepancies using internal systems and external resources.
- Support the open enrollment period and system integration projects by handling day-to-day enrollment tasks.
- Respond to inquiries submitted by agents and internal teams via document management systems and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless enrollment operations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in data entry, customer service, or administrative support.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to work scheduled hours and meet performance expectations.
- Prior experience in health insurance or enrollment processing.
- Familiarity with CMS regulations and federally funded marketplace operations.
- Experience working with claims or enrollment systems.
