- Worksite Location: Bloomington, MN (hybrid)
- Compensation: $80k to $120k salary DOE with full benefits
What you'll do as the FileMaker Developer:
- Develop and maintain a cross-platform Order Processing System, a FileMaker Pro database.
- Manage projects, interface with internal customers and meet organizational deadlines.
- Develop and manage external FileMaker resources to work on assigned development projects.
- Act as lead developer, or support developer in the development of functional specifications based on vision and scope provided by executive leadership.
- Help identify the future vision and role of FileMaker and other systems in our company for enhancements and evolution.
- Perform design work on new systems and new platforms in current generation languages, exercise individual judgment to implement appropriate design patterns and practices.
- Implement functional specifications on the targeted products and projects.
- Adopt industry standard and team specific coding practices.
- Manage underlying servers, and their related security.
- Act as conduit and provide guidance to our third-party systems administrator consultants.
What you will bring to the role as a FileMaker Developer:
- FileMaker Pro developer experience 18.0 or better (currently running in 19.5); Certification in 18.0 or better is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience.
- Knowledge and experience in developing FileMaker applications in basic business functions including CRM (Customer Relationship Management), order processing, inventory management, accounts receivable and vendor management.
- Experience with API (Application Programming Interfaces) preferred - especially SalesForce, accounting programs (Xero), Avatax, and website interface.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- BA or BS with a background in Computer Science is a plus, but not required.
