About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and globally minded Global Logistics Load Factor Analyst to support a leading multinational innovator in the manufacturing and supply chain sector. This role plays a critical part in optimizing cargo utilization across global transportation networks, contributing to cost efficiency, sustainability, and operational excellence. You will work cross-functionally with regional and global teams to enhance tools, standardize metrics, and drive performance improvements.
Job Description
As a Global Logistics Load Factor Analyst, you will:
- Lead the development and enhancement of cargo utilization metrics and tools, including CVU% (Cube Utilization), WU% (Weight Utilization), and LFM% (Load Factor Max).
- Expand the Load Factor performance tool across global regions (EMEA, LATAM, APAC) and transportation modes (Ocean FCL, Ground FTL).
- Automate and standardize indicators for integration into global dashboards, scorecards, and operational routines.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align logistics strategies with business goals such as cost reduction and sustainability.
- Document calculation logic, data assumptions, and business rules for Load Factor monitoring.
- Ensure consistency and reliability of data across systems (ERP, TMS, WMS).
- Contribute to broader logistics initiatives including Top Lanes Tracker, Scorecards, and Savings Tracker.
Key Challenges
- Managing large volumes of transportation data while ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Harmonizing metric definitions across diverse global processes.
- Evolving decision-support tools to balance simplicity and strategic depth.
- Driving adoption across regions and organizational levels.
- Responding to dynamic business needs with agile methodologies and tool enhancements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, or Data & Analytics.
- Experience with logistics performance tools and systems (WMS, TMS, ERP).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong skills in SQL, DAX, or similar data manipulation languages.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Ability to operate in global, cross-functional environments.
- Investigative and problem-solving mindset with a focus on actionable insights.
- Prior experience in top-tier consulting or strategy firms.
- Familiarity with statistical or predictive modeling.
- Experience in sustainability-focused logistics initiatives.
