- Worksite Location: On-site/Hybrid in either the Willmar or Litchfield, MN office
- Salary: $65,000-$85,000 annually, based on skills and experience

What you’ll do as the Governmental Accountant:
- Prepare audited financial statements
- Perform all audit functions and tests as prescribed in applicable audit programs
- Identify accounting, compliance, and reporting issues
- Maintain a working knowledge of all current auditing laws and statutes, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, auditing standards, and standards unique to government entities
- Participate in the company’s Governmental Accounting & Auditing Committee
- Conduct research related to client work and internal projects
- Attend Continuing Professional Education to develop your interpersonal skills and professional expertise
What you need to become a Governmental Accountant:
- Accounting, Finance, Business degree attained or in process of completion, preferred
- CPA license or CPA candidates preferred
- Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
- Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality required
- Desire to continue to develop and enhance skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize projects and meet deadlines
- Strong computer aptitude
