- Contract Length: 3-months
- Work Location: Hybrid in Eagan, MN (On-site 2 days per week; remote 3-days)
- Hourly Rate: $50-54/hr W2
HR Business Partner Job Summary:
Become part of an energetic and agile Human Resources Business Partner team that provides support to the sales division. This position will cater to Government Markets sales group, Provider Relations, and a smaller subsidiary by conducting talent assessments, organizational structuring, and participating in other compelling strategic initiatives. The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor directing the strategic and operational execution of human resources activities in support of and aligned with business objectives for a designated client group in conjunction with senior HRBP leadership.Â
What the HR Business Partner will do:
- Provides insights for a subset of designated leaders within a business unit, in support of the co-creation, communication and implementation of a clear vision in support of business unit’s strategic objectives.
- Creates a forward-thinking strategy that diagnoses business unit’s needs, connects, and deploys team capabilities, and consults with customer groups on operational strategies to improve business performance through people.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the business and delivery of services to internal client groups to drive outstanding performance.
- Provides strategic HR partnership to designated leadership and teams, primarily supporting Sr Directors and Directors.
- Solves challenges, generating innovative approaches to business problems leveraging talent.
- Plays a role in design and execution of talent projects in support of business strategies and operational priorities.
- Provides advice and guidance on various topics including performance management, talent management, succession, compensation, coaching and talent reviews, etc.
- Partners with business leaders and talent acquisition to develop hiring plans to support business objectives and advance business priorities.
- Establishes effective partnerships with business leaders to influence talent decisions by providing tailored advice and leveraging expertise for business needs.
- Drives informed decision-making by using data to identify trends and works with business leaders to determine root cause of issues and develop effective solutions.
What you will bring to the HR Business Partner role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Organization/Industrial Psychology, or related field preferred or not required.
- 5+ years of progressive related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
- Previous experience supporting business units and shared services.
- Proven ability to collaborate well with mid-level leadership, leveraging strong intellectual, conceptual, and analytical skills; ability to clearly, confidently, and convincingly present analyses and recommendations.
- Experience collaborating and partnering with business leaders to develop, design and implement relevant strategic HR strategies that align to the business.
- Must be knowledgeable in multiple facets of HR including strategy development, talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards/compensation, performance management, employee assessment and development, succession planning, organization development, DE&I and HRIS.
- Ability to use data & analytics to generate insights and present findings to the business.
- Understands the implications of decisions, demonstrates knowledge of environment, and aligns work with strategic goals.
- Experience in influencing and building strong relationships and networks.
- Demonstrates ability to respond to changing and sometime ambiguous situations.
