Worksite Location: Eagan MN (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 3 months

What you’ll do as the HR Business Partner:

Develop strong business relationships with leadership
Help create a forward-thinking strategy that diagnoses, connects, and deploys team capabilities, and collaborates with customer groups on operational strategies to improve business performance through people
Align team structures to effectively drive enterprise strategy by partnering with leaders on intentional organizational design
Demonstrate knowledge of the business and delivery of services to the Operations division to drive outstanding performance and partner on change management initiatives
Provide advice and guidance on various topics including performance management, talent management, succession, compensation, coaching, talent reviews, etc.
Partner with HR centers of excellence to build management capability to develop individuals and teams and facilitate an inclusive environment that reflects Blue Cross values
Establish effective partnerships with business leaders to influence talent decisions by providing tailored advice and using expertise for business needs
Drive informed decision-making by using data to identify trends and works to determine the root cause of issues and develop effective solutions

What you’ll bring to the HR Business Partner role:

3+ years of progressive-related professional experience (all relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered)
Previous experience supporting business units and shared services
Proven ability to collaborate well with entry and mid-level leadership to develop, design, and implement relevant strategic HR strategies that align with the business in conjunction with senior HRBP leadership
Demonstrated competency in strategic business partnership, change management, coaching and consultation, development and execution of talent strategies, and championing diversity and inclusion
Ability to use data and analytics to generate insights and present findings to the business
Understand and support the organization’s vision and strategy
Experience in influencing and building relationships
Ability to articulate a variety of issues to different audiences and tailor the messages.
