HR Coordinator

- Worksite Location:Â Stafford, CT
- Contract Duration: 12 months
What you'll do as an HR Coordinator:Â
- Provide administrative support in all aspects of Human Resources
- Coordinate the implementation of multiple HR processes and compile employee information
- Handle problems which typically require identifying solutions by selecting from alternative courses of action
- Provide guidance to co-workers or new employees mainly on routine supporting duties
- Follow a variety of generally defined procedures within functional disciplines such as benefits, compensation, staffing, employee relations, operations, etc.
- Serves as main employee contact for subject matter that includes: payroll, benefits, disability and other HR related day to day questions and issues
- Support the external staffing process for salary and hourly employees which includes administering testing, scheduling interviews, etc.
- Coordinate various company events throughout the year such as the employee picnic, employee recognition events, etc.
What you’ll bring to the HR Coordinator role:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ year degree at a technical/vocational/trade school
- 5+ years of relevant working experience
- Good coordination, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant, specifically Workday
