About the Role
We are partnering with a leading manufacturer known for its innovative production capabilities and strong commitment to employee development. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and play a key role in advancing people-focused initiatives at the site.
In this role, you will be a primary resource for employees and leaders—providing guidance on employee relations, supporting training and development, improving HR processes, and ensuring a positive, compliant workplace experience.
Job Description
You will play a visible and influential role on the site floor, building relationships with employees at all levels and serving as a trusted resource for day-to-day needs. This includes supporting leaders with real-time problem solving, helping cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment, and driving engagement initiatives that strengthen communication, morale, and overall employee experience.
- Provide proactive HR support to employees and managers across the site.
- Offer guidance on employee relations, coaching, development, and performance matters.
- Support recruitment efforts and participate in talent-related decision making.
- Partner with HR team members to communicate and implement HR strategies.
- Assist with employee onboarding and training, including developing and delivering training programs.
- Maintain strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws to ensure compliance.
- Support compensation, benefits, and policy-related activities.
- Continuously assess and improve internal HR processes with a customer-focused mindset.
- Provide backup support to the HR Coordinator as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- PHR or HRCI certification
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience supporting HR programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment
