- Worksite Location: St. Paul, MN
What you’ll do as an HR Generalist:
- Provide support to 3rd party payroll provider as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401k plans
- Conduct benefits enrollment and open enrollment processes
- Process benefit claims and changes
- Maintain accurate employee benefit records
- Provide guidance and support to employees on various HR-related matters, such as policies, procedures, and benefits
- Investigate and resolve employee concerns and complaints in a timely and confidential manner
- Assist with disciplinary actions and performance management processes
- Manage the organization's 401k plan, including contributions, distributions, and loans
- Coordinate with the 401k provider and investment advisors
- Identify and assess HR-related gaps and opportunities within the organization
- Develop and implement strategies to improve HR processes and practices
- Contribute to organizational development initiatives, such as talent management, employee engagement, and succession planning
What you’ll bring to the HR Generalist role:
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Experience administering benefits for employees
- Experience supporting and administering 401K benefits
- Experience reviewing HR business processes, creating gap analysis, and making recommendations for improvements
- Experience providing support for any employee management issues
