HRIS Analyst and Payroll Professional Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HRIS Analyst and Payroll Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS systems, particularly UKG, and extensive experience in full cycle payroll processing. This role requires expertise in developing and executing testing scripts, providing application support, and ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations.
What you’ll do as the HRIS Analyst and Payroll Professional:
- Develop and execute testing scripts for payroll and timekeeping functionalities
- Set up test data to validate system changes and enhancements
- Conduct comprehensive testing of system functionalities to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with business owners for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm end-user requirements are met
- Create detailed design documentation for open change requests and system modifications
- Provide prompt application support to troubleshoot issues and respond to user inquiries
- Maintain and update job aids, user guides, and training materials to reflect system updates and best practices
- Manage full cycle payroll processing for US and Canadian employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to support decision-making

- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Human Resources
- Strong understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Proven experience in full cycle payroll processing, with knowledge of UK payroll systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information
- Knowledge of US and Canadian payroll policies, including FLSA laws and overtime, is a plus
- Familiarity with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a plus
- Advanced user of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) and experience in creating reports
