- Start Date:Â November 4, 2024
- Contract Duration: Contract-to-hire
- Worksite Location:Â 100% Remote (Candidates must be located in one of the following states:Â MN, NE, ND, SD, WI)
- Hourly Rate: $19.00 per hour, W2
- Work Schedule: 8:00AM–9:00PM, Monday-Friday
- Training Schedule: 5 weeks from 8:00AM–4:30PM, Monday-Friday
What you'll do as the Health Plan Specialist:
- Assist members with questions about billing, benefits, enrollment and claim inquiries
- Treat customers with respect and courtesy and always act with the customer in mind
- Represent to the customer in a professional manner
- Maintain and restore customer relationships.
- Work efficiently by utilizing online tools and resources
- Resolve customer issues with a high degree of accuracy and timely follow-up to maintain customer trust and satisfaction
- Provide end-to-end resolution of all issues by maintaining ownership and retaining all documentation to ensure complete, accurate, and timely resolution
What you'll bring to the Health Plan Specialist role:
- High school diploma or 4+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of prior call center experience
- Proficiency in using multi-screen workstations, using multiple applications simultaneously, Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Excellent prior attendance history
- Flexibility with schedule and working occasional weekend hours
- Critical-thinking skills, and a keen ability to show empathy, problem solve, and explain complex situations
- Must be able to adhere to attendance requirements for training and scheduled shifts
- Strong focus on the member experience and a clear understanding of the company's mission
