Health Rules Payer Data Integration Specialist
Job Description
- Worksite Location: Sioux Falls, SD
- Contract Duration: 6-9 months
As a Health Rules Payor Data Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the integration of payor data within the Health Rules Information Exchange platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business requirements, and ensure the seamless exchange of data between our systems and external payors. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Health Rules, and EDI standards, and proven expertise in data integration within the healthcare industry.
What you’ll do as the Health Rules Payor Data Integration Specialist:
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for payor data integration
- Design and implement data integration solutions within the Health Rules Information Exchange platform
- Develop and maintain EDI maps, ensuring accurate and secure data transmission
- Conduct testing and debugging to identify and resolve integration issues
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols
- Work closely with payors and internal teams to address integration challenges and optimize data exchange processes
- Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Health Rules and EDI standards
- In-depth knowledge of Health Rules, EDI standards, and healthcare data exchange protocols
- Experience in languages such as SQL, .Net, Java, Python, or similar
- Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and security
- Experience with Edifecs is a plus
