  • Contract Duration: 6-Months
  • Worksite Location: Hartford, CT

What you’ll do as a Help Desk:
  • Troubleshoot problems and provide or obtain a timely resolution
  • Answer calls related to PC and host applications, hardware capabilities, and connectivity problems
  • Understand established service level agreements, and effectively work to meet or exceed those standards
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships across the organization and is able to influence management, peers, and customers through an inclusive style and recognition of their abilities and knowledge
  • Demonstrate an attitude of cooperation and attention to customer needs and skill level through superior telephone skills
  • Recognize the importance of timely and accurate responses and is aware of development schedules and releases that impact the customer
  • Anticipate the impact of changes on the customer and takes action to minimize that impact
  • Ensure that the team meets service level goals as set by management and agreed to by the customer
  • Handle contacts with clear, concise business communication appropriate for the audience

What you will bring to the Help Desk role:
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, MS Office 365, and ServiceNow Ticketing System
  • Experience with iPhone and Android support
  • Knowledge of general hardware/software issues
  • Ability to exhibit objectivity and openness to others’ views
  • Capability to give and welcome feedback effectively
  • Good listening techniques and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of situations.
  • Experience in calming frustrated callers and being recognized by customers as helpful.
  • Understanding of the importance of timely and accurate responses and awareness of development schedules and releases that impact the customer.
  • Strong empathy for customers and the ability to anticipate the impact of changes on them.
  • Effective business communication skills suitable for various audiences.
