- Worksite Location: Cold Spring, MN
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
As the Helpdesk Systems Analyst, you’ll be analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.Â
What you’ll do as the Helpdesk Systems Analyst:
- Analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs
- Review computer system capabilities and workflow
- Study existing information processing systems to evaluate their effectiveness
- Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify operations to be performed by equipment, computer programs, and operations
- Conduct studies about the development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs
- Plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development
- Review project requests describing database user needs
- Review procedures in database management system manuals for making changes to the database
- Four-year degree in accounting and/or a computer-related field is preferred (a related post-secondary degree may be considered)
- 0–5 years of experience working in ERP systems
- Candidates with firsthand experience in the Granite or Bronze Industries may be given further consideration even if they do not meet the education or experience requirements
- Strong collaboration, relationship management, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt and understand business
