About the Role
A leading national retail corporation is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join their on-site hardware depot team in Brooklyn Park, MN. This position supports a large-scale retail operation by providing non-retail hardware fulfillment and depot services for technology devices used across stores, distribution centers, and headquarters locations. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced corporate environment supporting cutting-edge retail technology platforms, including Point of Sale, Mobility, and Camera systems.
Job Description
The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for fulfilling hardware requests related to broken or replacement hardware within the client's facilities. Daily responsibilities include stocking, picking, tracking, configuring, and shipping hardware, as well as managing detailed inventory tracking and warranty processing.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a strong understanding of inventory systems and the data required to leverage them accurately. The technician may work directly with store contacts to understand end-user impact, making clear communication and strong relationship-building skills essential to success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill hardware incidents through picking and shipping of hardware (approximately 60% of time)
  • Perform inventory tracking and reconciliation (approximately 25% of time)
  • Handle configuration and application of firmware (approximately 15% of time)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and process warranties
  • Collaborate with internal contacts to understand hardware needs and end-user impact
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and provide flexible support based on daily needs

Qualifications
Required qualifications:
  • Ability to lift and move pallets and packages weighing 25 lbs. or more
  • Computer literacy and comfort working with technology
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to provide systematic reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with inventory systems and the detailed data required to leverage them accurately
  • Inventory management experience
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work in ambiguity and with minimal oversight
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Interest in learning about new and evolving technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical degree
  • Prior experience working in a corporate environment
  • Familiarity with packaging and shipping processes
  • Experience with Inventory Management Systems
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow, Excel, and SharePoint
