Worksite Location: Bloomington, MN
Compensation: $100,000-$150,000 per year

What you’ll do as the IT Manager:

Prioritize and schedule new IT projects, manage daily operations, and ensure timely support to all teams including Minnesota offices, Florida remote location, and remote sales staff
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, peripherals, communication links, and key business systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio, ERP, shipping systems, IT ticketing)
Provide technical support and training to users while maintaining backup, security, and compliance systems across the organization
Lead and support technology-related projects, including integrations, departmental initiatives, and companywide IT training programs
Develop and uphold IT policies, standards, and procedures, including documentation and instructional manuals to ensure consistent system use and data security
Create and execute annual technology plans, conduct research, evaluate new solutions, and present business proposals and budget recommendations
Manage organizational IT security programs, monitor threats, and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies
Develop and manage performance reporting processes, deliver progress updates, and oversee IT budgets and operational expenditures
Collaborate with the Technical Writer to document and update departmental procedures for consistent knowledge transfer
Ensure all IT practices align with data security and compliance requirements
Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-training and supporting other team members

What you’ll bring to the IT Manager role:

5+ years of IT experience (10+ preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Proficiency with Visual Basic, C#, Microsoft environments, and SQL (including managing Agents)
Strong knowledge of computer systems, network and systems administration, databases, storage, security, and telecommunications
Experienced in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and network equipment
Able to support both on-site and remote users via various communication channels
Highly self-motivated with proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in reading and writing in English
Ability to sit, stand, walk, handle equipment, and occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch
Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally
May occasionally work in manufacturing areas with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, moving equipment, and other production-related conditions requiring personal protective equipment
