IT Manager
Job Description
- Worksite Location: Ramsey, MN
- Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 annually
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of all IT systems. This role includes managing a team of IT professionals, coordinating technology projects, and ensuring the alignment of IT strategies with business goals. The IT Manager will supervise system installations, network management, software applications, and cybersecurity measures to protect company data.
What you’ll do as an IT Manager:
- Manage technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking systems
- Manage IT team, including hiring, training and development, and performance management
- Ensure that all IT systems are running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Work with our external managed service providers to work on special projects, system admin tasks and infrastructure management
- Work closely with the Director of IT to manage the IT department budget, including forecasting and cost analysis
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry and make recommendations for improvements to the company's technology infrastructure
- Provide technical support assistance to all staff as a backup to the technical support specialist when necessary
- Plan, implement, and monitor IT projects, including network upgrades, system migrations, and software deployments
- Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
- Perform regular system audits on all applicable systems
- 5+ Â years of experience in IT management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ERP systems, SQL, and cloud technologies.
- Expertise in IT infrastructure, network systems, cybersecurity and business systems, primarily in a Windows environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and management skills
