Location: Minneapolis/Wayzata, MN or Atlanta, GA preferred; open to 100% remote
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Compensation:Â $55 - $75 per hour W2 (no C2C)
$110,000–$150,000 (conversion salary, based on level and experience)

Our client, a large enterprise organization within the food and beverage manufacturing industry, is seeking a Warehouse Management Systems Project Manager to support a major warehouse technology transformation. This role will lead business-facing efforts tied to a warehouse management system currently in use, with an active evaluation underway for a potential replacement platform.
This opportunity is ideal for a Project Manager who excels at bridging business operations and technology, confidently engaging plant leadership, supply chain partners, IT teams, and external vendors across multiple manufacturing sites.

Job Description
- Lead warehouse management system initiatives within process manufacturing environments such as food, grain, or other blended-material operations
- Partner with plant operations, supply chain, IT, and third-party vendors to gather requirements and define future-state WMS capabilities
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies associated with WMS enhancements or system replacement efforts
- Facilitate recurring calls and working sessions with geographically dispersed plants and cross-functional teams
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Provide functional-level guidance on warehouse management systems to support sound business decisions
Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably SwissLog; Savoye, ASRS, or MadeForNet (M4N) experience is also acceptable
- Background supporting process manufacturing environments (not discrete manufacturing)
- Understanding of inventory models where materials are consumed, blended, and irreversible
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior business stakeholders
- Experience working across multiple sites and collaborating with diverse teams
- SAP experience
- Exposure to automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS)
- Experience supporting food, grain, or similar manufacturing domains
