- Contract Duration: 6-months
- Worksite Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
- Compensation: $37.00 - $67.00 per hour
What you’ll do as the Development Engineer:
- Develop and test code to deliver functionality that aligns with overall business objectives
- Implement features from the product backlog and estimate user stories
- Write unit tests, develop automated test scripts, and perform testing tasks
- Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria and contribute to project documentation
- Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure features meet business needs
- Follow agile software development methodologies and maintain development documentation
- Work with infrastructure, security, and cross-functional teams to support development efforts
What you’ll bring to the Development Engineer role:
- 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role
- 1+ years of experience working in an agile development environment
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot development
- Experience with REST API and microservices deployment
- Hands-on experience with Gradle, MongoDB, and Apache Kafka
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Strong experience with software test automation
- Scrum certification is a plus
- Familiarity with Kotlin or Micronaut is a nice-to-have
