- Contract Duration:Â 6 months
- Worksite Location:Â Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)
- Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week (Flexible)Â
- Compensation: $60.00–$90.00 per hour (W2)
- Lead the end-to-end technical development process for products, ensuring alignment with quality standards, brand vision, and performance expectations
- Interpret design concepts and guide products through the full development lifecycle, collaborating closely with design, sourcing, quality, and merchandising teams
- Communicate proactively with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive clarity and accountability across product initiatives
- Execute strategic development initiatives, including manufacturing issue resolution, innovative product solutions, and technical research
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and performance analysis to ensure product superiority in the market
- Participate in product development activities to balance style, value, and quality while maintaining adherence to key milestones and deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Product Development, or related field—or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in technical product development
- Strong understanding of raw materials, manufacturing processes, and legal/safety requirements for consumer products
- Expertise in product testing standards and compliance
- Advanced proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Miro
- Proven ability to manage multiple development projects, resolve production challenges, and drive high-quality outcomes through collaboration and innovation
