Infrastructure Administrator
Job Description
Job Title:Â Infrastructure Administrator
Location:Â Fargo, ND
Pay:Â $70,000 - $90,000 annually depending on experience + time and a half for any after hours work
Â
Responsibilities:
- Microsoft Infrastructure Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments
- Device Management: Experience with Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft 365 Compliance (O365)
- Security & Compliance: Familiarity with security best practices, firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems
- System Performance & Maintenance: Monitor, optimize, and perform regular updates on hardware, software, and operating systems
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Plan, execute, and maintain backup and restore strategies
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Develop and maintain network diagrams, configurations, and best practices
- Customer Support: Provide proactive communication and technical support to users, both on-site and remotely
- Infrastructure Installations: Travel to client sites for server, storage, and power infrastructure installations (company vehicle provided)
- Ticketing System: Work within ConnectWise or similar ticketing systems to track incidents and resolutions
- Collaboration: Work closely with higher-level engineers, solutions architects, and a 14-member infrastructure team to deliver exceptional service

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in server infrastructure and Microsoft stack technologies
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, Compliance (O365), and security best practices
- Familiarity with enterprise network storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
- Strong communication skills—ability to assess customer needs and provide holistic solutions
- Proficiency with ConnectWise or other ticketing systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation of technical implementations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain proactive communication

Additional Details:
- On-call expectations are rare (2-3 times per year, shared with another team member)
- Hybrid work model: Fully in-office for the first month, then remote Mondays & Fridays
