Title: Inside Sales Specialist (Licensed)
Location: Remote | Candidates must be located near one of the following cities, as onsite work may occasionally be requested: Minnetonka, MN; Madison, WI; Omaha, NE; or St. Louis, MO.
Job Type: Contract (3 Months + Potential to extend)
Compensation: $23.50/hr + $1/hr for any regular shift ending at or after 6:30pm (effective after training). Contractors may also be eligible for additional incentives/commissions

We are partnering with a well-established, Minnesota-based health plan organization to hire licensed Inside Sales Specialists who will help grow their Medicare membership. In this role, you'll guide prospects and current members through the sales cycle, using your expertise to recommend the products that best fit their needs. Job Description
As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for increasing Medicare membership while consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals. You'll assist prospects and members through each stage of the sales cycle, ensuring recommendations align with their needs and remain fully compliant with health insurance industry guidelines. Success in this role means balancing strong sales performance with an unwavering commitment to compliance and member experience.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting prospects and members through the full sales cycle via inbound and outbound calls
  • Recommending the best-fit products to meet each individual's needs
  • Meeting and exceeding established sales goals while maintaining compliance
  • Documenting interactions accurately and maintaining clear records
  • Delivering polite, professional, and member-focused service in a contact center setting
Work Arrangement
  • This position is primarily remote; however, contractors may occasionally be requested to work onsite for meetings (hybrid/HUB model).
  • Candidates must be located near one of the client's hub locations: Minnetonka, MN; Madison, WI; Omaha, NE; or St. Louis, MO.
Shifts
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM / Regular Business Hours or 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM 
  • Any regular shift ending at or after 6:30 PM qualifies for a +$1.00/hour shift differential, which takes effect after training.
  • Training Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
Remote Work Requirements
  • Must be able to maintain a professional, distraction-free work environment (free from family members, roommates, and/or pets).
  • Being on camera is required for all meetings and trainings.
  • An internet speed test is required with every candidate submittal. A screenshot of the results must be attached to the submittal (similar to a resume).
  • Internet speed testing can be completed at speedtest.net by selecting "Begin Test." Minimum requirements:
    • Download speed: 25+ Mbps
    • Upload speed: 5+ Mbps
    • Ping: Less than 100 ms

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Current Health Insurance License (active and in good standing)
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in health plan sales, broker relationships, and/or inside sales
  • Clear understanding of compliance guidelines within the health insurance industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong documentation and writing skills
  • Must reside near one of the client's hub locations (Minnetonka, MN; Madison, WI; Omaha, NE; or St. Louis, MO)
  • Ability to meet remote work and internet speed requirements listed above
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Contact center experience, including both inbound and outbound call handling
  • Excellent customer service skills in a contact center environment
  • Strong sales and prospecting abilities
