  • Worksite Location: Remote
  • Compensation: $95,000-$115,000 annually + bonus eligible up to 6%
What you’ll do as the Lead Commercial Lines Account Manager:
  • Support the Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects
  • Analyze certificate, endorsement, and audit requests
  • Initiate necessary corrections to ensure accuracy of dates, coverage, signatures, commission, premium, attachments, etc. 
  • Facilitate the flow of information from agents and underwriters to internal teams and/or clients
  • Initiate cancellation and non-renewal notices in a timely manner according to statutory and contractual requirements
  • Respond promptly to all requests from the internal team, (re)insurers, or clients regarding account servicing issues
  • Interact regularly with brokers, clients, and underwriters regarding certificates
  • Provide and/or assist with quotations and binders for new business, renewals, and endorsements
  • Proactively initiate and coordinate renewal activity on assigned accounts
  • Review client accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact clients on receivable collections
  • Provide technical guidance to staff assisting with client needs or procedural issues
  • Notify brokers of pertinent information related to client retention
  • Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity
What you’ll bring to the Lead Commercial Lines Account Manager role:
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience  
  • 6+ years related work experience 
  • Valid insurance license
  • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
  • Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork 
  • Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
  • Good leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
