- Worksite Location: Hybrid in Fife, WA location (3-4 days in office, up to 2 days remote)
- Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000
This role oversees all financial operations under the direction of the Corporate Controller. The Manufacturing Cost Accountant maintains the integrity of the overall accounting and reporting systems by managing the accuracy and productivity of daily accounting activities. This role is also responsible for assuring that the financial plans are consistent with the long-term goals of the company.
What you will do as a Manufacturing Cost Accountant:
- Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls, and checks across all departments
- Manage day-to-day activities of invoicing/billing, customer credits, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed assets, and cost accounting
- Assure Bill of Materials (BOMs) accurately reflect the necessary product time
- Provide appropriate information needed for tax reporting and filings, including federal and state income tax, quarterly sales tax, and other filings
- Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, etc.
- Support all departments by utilizing data from ERP and reporting performance against metrics
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5+ years of experience in food & batch manufacturing
- Working knowledge and experience in manufacturing cost accounting
- Strong skill levels in ERP systems and MS Excel
- Experience in Payroll, payroll taxes, sales tax, and other typical business taxes and reports
