We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading provider of power distribution, power conditioning, load bank, and renewable energy equipment solutions. This organization plays a critical role in supporting electrical infrastructure across diverse industries. The position is based at a modern, state-of-the-art facility in Waukesha, WI, where safety, integrity, and innovation drive every aspect of operations.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be instrumental in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the production of advanced electrical and metal fabrication equipment.
Job Description
In this role, you will:
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for electrical and metal fabrication equipment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and resource optimization.
  • Select and maintain machinery, tools, and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Develop and standardize work instructions, procedures, and documentation for manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering during new product introduction (NPI) to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
  • Partner with quality teams to create and execute quality control plans and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production teams.
  • Conduct cost analysis and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or safety.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and foster a culture of safety.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with expertise in metal fabrication, electro-mechanical, and/or electronic assembly.
  • Hands-on experience supporting production lines and driving process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Familiarity with quality control tools and processes (e.g., process control, FMEA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience with electrical systems and advanced metal fabrication techniques.
  • Background in design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA).
  • Previous involvement in cost-reduction initiatives and productivity optimization.
