About the Role
Our firm is partnering with a leading organization in the Property & Casualty insurance industry to identify a Market Research Analyst who will support enterprise-wide and business unit decision-making through high-impact research initiatives. This role plays a critical part in shaping strategic direction by translating customer and market insights into actionable business recommendations. The ideal candidate is a self-directed research professional who can manage projects end to end and collaborate effectively across teams.
Job Description
The Market Research Analyst will lead and execute primary research initiatives using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Working with minimal oversight, this role is responsible for managing multiple research projects simultaneously, from scoping and design through analysis and presentation of insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting key business and enterprise initiatives by leveraging primary research methods.
- Recommending appropriate research methodologies and partnering with internal research operations teams to support vendor selection, survey design, programming, sampling, and testing.
- Managing projects end to end, including project scoping, timelines, budgets, research design, analysis, and final delivery.
- Proactively identifying project challenges and recommending practical solutions.
- Analyzing research findings and generating clear, relevant, and actionable business insights.
- Communicating findings through compelling, business-focused presentations.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of market research or closely related experience.
- Ability to analyze and summarize quantitative and qualitative research data.
- Demonstrated skill in turning data and analysis into actionable insights and clear business narratives.
- Experience managing research projects from scoping through delivery with minimal supervision.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of research tools and platforms such as Qualtrics, SPSS, or similar solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, mathematics, statistics, psychology, anthropology, or a related analytical field.
- 4 or more years of market research or related experience.
- 2 or more years of formal or informal leadership experience.
- Subject matter expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, survey design, and statistical and sampling techniques.
- Experience managing vendor-led research projects within established budgets.
- Familiarity with secondary research best practices.
- Experience with B2B research and/or knowledge of the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
