Contract Duration: 6 months
Worksite Location: Hartford, CT | Hybrid
Compensation: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

What you’ll do as the Marketing Specialist:

Serve as the primary contact for the Web Publishing team, collaborating with Digital Enablement to submit requests, review staged content, and guide approvals
Manage weekly redirects and ensure accuracy in implementation to support site health
Analyze BrightEdge and Google Search Console reports, partnering with SEO and Product Owner teams to identify trends and implement improvements
Work from monthly maintenance reports to address issues such as missing titles, meta descriptions, and image optimization
Support defect reporting, triage, and documentation related to the content management system
Assist with user acceptance testing and quality assurance during the website migration project to ensure accuracy and usability

What you’ll bring to the Marketing Specialist role:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
2+ years of professional experience in marketing or a related field
Hands-on experience with content management systems (Optimizely Digital Experience Platform preferred)
Strong understanding of web design, UX, and SEO best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and recommend solutions
