The Master Data Management Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of our organization's master data. They will be responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing master data management processes, as well as collaborating with various departments to develop and maintain data standards.

- Worksite Location: St. Paul, MN
The Master Data Management Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of our organization's master data. They will be responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing master data management processes, as well as collaborating with various departments to develop and maintain data standards.
What you’ll do as the Master Data Management Process Specialist:
- Develop and enforce master data governance policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the organization
- Identify data quality issues, anomalies, and discrepancies, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to remediate and prevent recurring data quality problems
- Create and maintain data standards and data naming conventions to promote uniformity and consistency across systems and databases
- Design and implement data mapping strategies to facilitate data integration between various systems, ensuring seamless data flow and minimal disruptions
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to assess data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established data governance policies
- Initiate data cleansing and enrichment activities to improve data quality and enhance the value of master data assets
- Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate data governance status and improvements to relevant stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in master data management or data governance roles
- In-depth understanding of data management principles, data quality frameworks, and data governance best practices
- Familiarity with data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and data profiling tools
- Experience with relevant master data management software and tools is advantageous
