  • Worksite Location: Roseau, MN - Ability to work hybrid/remote after training
  • Compensation: $28-$30/hr

Payroll Administrator Job Description:
This is a position that leads the payroll processes and reporting for multiple manufacturing facilities. Primary responsibilities will be to execute biweekly payroll, provide outstanding customer service to all levels of the organization, provide supervisor and employee system training, as well support the operations and finance teams with various reporting. This role will also collaborate across organization to work on improvements in payroll process management, payroll metric reporting, and efficiencies. 

What you'll do as the Payroll Administrator:
  • Conduct routine biweekly payroll data entry in Workday & UKG Dimensions
  • Maintain Payroll Business Process Records in Workday. Including, New Hires, Terminations, W-4, Misc. Deductions, Comp Changes, etc
  • Work closely with the UKG Dimensions System Administrator on upgrades, new functionality testing and ongoing systems support
  • Support Finance and Operations with Labor Efficiency Reporting in UKG Dimensions
  • Ensure Polaris compensation policies are properly administered and payroll procedures are maintained
  • Work with Companywide payroll teams on special projects and participate in Bi-weekly Payroll Meetings
  • Train hourly employees, supervisors, and Managers on the UKG Dimensions Time and Attendance system as well as other various payroll related topics
What you will bring to the role as the Payroll Administrator:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Three plus years of experience in Payroll and Accounting/Finance
  • Proficient skills with various Microsoft office tools required. Experience with additional systems including UKG Dimensions, and/or Workday a plus
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills with previous experience working with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work weekend/holidays to support payroll execution as needed
  • Payroll experience with hourly functions (not just salary) is a must have
