- Worksite Location: San Luis Obispo, CA (Hybrid)
- Hourly Rate: $25/hourÂ
- Ensure that employees’ time entry and time off requests are accurate, timely, and in accordance with company policies, and federal and state regulations
- Audit, communicate, and correct incorrect time entries and time requests in Workday
- Investigate and resolve any timekeeping issues or disputes
- Work closely with the Payroll Processing team during the payroll close process
- Answer employee requests and questions promptly
- Provide timekeeping reports as needed to other departments or management
- Accurately process and complete assigned timekeeping tasks by deadline
What you’ll bring to the Payroll Clerk:
- Strong, customer-service-oriented verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle and manage sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships
- Excellent keyboard and computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid knowledge of other Office products (Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Familiarity with ERP/HRIS systems preferred
- Experience in payroll and timekeeping preferred
