- Worksite Location: Belgrade, MN
- Compensation: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
- Process payroll & perform related duties regarding team members’ time & attendance/recordkeeping in payroll system (ADP)
- Ensure accuracy in calculations of wages, bonuses, commissions, etc.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve issues with paychecks and or deductions
- Address team member inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and discrepancies
- Ensure payroll operations comply with local, state and federal regulations and labor laws
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns and reports
- Prepare and distribute W-2’s, 1099 and other tax related forms
- Process and maintain records in payroll systems regarding team member changes
- Assist with audits and provide necessary information
- Meet with team members upon termination and process paperwork related to termination
What you’ll bring to the Payroll Specialist role:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience working directly with payroll
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and labor laws
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP preferred) and Excel
- Ability to prioritize projects and work independently to meet deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be organized and detail oriented
- Experience in Microsoft Office software and general computer skills
- Ability to adhere to company’s confidentiality policy regarding company and team member private data
- Knowledgeable of basic office equipment, i.e. copy machine, fax machine, phone systems
