  • Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • Worksite Location: Wilmar, MN
  • Compensation: $21.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience
What a Payroll Specialist will do:
  • Gather information on hours worked for each employee
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system
  • Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
  • Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
  • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
  • Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
  • Prepare quarterly payroll and tax reports
  • Communicate directly with clients on various payroll issues
What you’ll bring to the role as the Payroll Specialist: 
  • 3-5+ years of experience in processing payrolls, quarterly payroll tax reports, year ending tax reports and more complex payrolls
