Job Description
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a full book of personal lines insurance accounts. This includes servicing existing clients, handling renewals, processing policy changes, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling. You’ll work closely with clients, carriers, and internal team members to ensure a high level of satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Service & Account Management
  • Provide day-to-day service for personal lines clients, including policy changes and coverage questions
  • Conduct account reviews to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Educate clients on policy coverages, exclusions, and endorsements
  • Carrier & Market Knowledge
  • Maintain strong relationships with carrier reps and underwriters
  • Understand carrier appetites and underwriting guidelines
  • Identify remarketing opportunities aligned with agency goals
  • Policy Administration
  • Process and verify policies, endorsements, and documentation
  • Manage renewals independently or in collaboration with producers
  • Prepare proposals and ensure timely delivery to clients
    Qualifications
    Required:
    • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License
    • Approximately 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance (flexible for the right candidate)
    • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
    • High attention to detail and organizational skills
    Preferred:
    • Experience working in a team-based agency environment
    • Familiarity with modern agency management systems
    • Interest in obtaining a Life License (supported by the employer)
    • Desire to grow into a hybrid Personal + Life Lines role
