- Contract Duration:Â 2 months
- Worksite Location:Â Minneapolis, MinnesotaÂ
- Compensation: $52.00 - $90.00 per hour
What you’ll do as the Pest Control Expert:
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for pest control across retail stores and distribution centers, providing guidance and troubleshooting on issues related to birds, rodents, insects, and more
- Conduct site assessments to identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive pest management
- Partner with third-party vendors to oversee service delivery, resolve escalations, and maintain high-quality standards
- Support the development and implementation of prevention protocols and response procedures to minimize pest-related disruptions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Safety, Facilities, and Store Operations, to ensure alignment and consistent execution of pest control strategies
- Develop and deliver training and educational materials to increase pest awareness and best practices across teams
- Monitor trends and emerging risks, escalating service gaps and recommending solutions to prevent future issues
What you’ll bring to the Pest Control Expert role:
- Strong knowledge of pest control practices, including prevention, mitigation, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to provide expert consultation and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across field and corporate teams
- Experience partnering with third-party vendors to ensure effective service execution and issue resolution
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear guidance
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and address emerging risks
- Certification or license in pest control is a plus
