Worksite Location: Brookings, SD
Contract Duration: 11 months
Compensation: $40.00-$45.00 per hour, W2

What you'll do as a Plant Controller:

Lead operational financial support for the Brookings Plant team and directly assist the Plant Director
Support the plant’s financial scorecard, continuous improvement initiatives, inventory/production analysis, and other short- to long-term financial decisions
Lead weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes, including month-end close activities, QORs/MREs, and the Annual Operating Plan
Work with business segments and Global Supply Chain organizations to support investment analysis at the site
Regularly assess plant performance (weekly/monthly/quarterly), identify productivity improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions
Develop insights on how sales volume, mix, demand planning, and supply planning dynamics impact plant financials to drive site productivity
Develop end-to-end processes, analyses, and tools to standardize reporting and support the site
Ensure compliance with Global Financial Standards and Statutory requirements

What you’ll bring to the Plant Controller role:

Bachelor’s Degree + 5+ years of finance experience, OR High School Diploma/GED + 12+ years of finance experience
CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (preferred)
5+ years of finance experience in manufacturing
Strong leadership, collaboration, and influence skills
Ability to execute with speed, agility, and quality
Proven record of increasing responsibility
Key skills: Financial Analysis, Purchase Orders, Sales Tax, Application Support, Apache Cordova
