  • Worksite Location: St. Cloud, MN
  • Compensation: $135,000-$155,000 annually
What you’ll do as a Plant Controller:
  • Perform monthly financial close and preparation of financial statements
  • Reconcile all General Ledger accounts monthly
  • Create monthly forecasts and annual operating budgets for the plant
  • Support plant operations and the organization to achieve goals and objectives, including the annual operating plan and capital investments
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and being followed for proper accounting and safeguarding of the company’s assets
  • Assist plant leadership in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain working knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Prepare and implement yearly standard cost updates
  • Oversee AR, AP, and Purchasing staff
  • Work with external auditors and tax teams
What you will bring to the Plant Controller role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment as Accounting Manager, Assist Controller, or Controller
  • Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • ERP experience along with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records
  • Strong communication skills and effective communication with all levels of the organization
  • Highly detail oriented and organized
