Worksite Location: Fargo, ND
Compensation: $55,000-$70,000 per year

What you’ll do as the Procurement Specialist:

Identify suppliers for parts and manufacturing products
Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of products
Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders
Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of products/materials delivered
Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of product remains positive
Maintain and develop detailed knowledge about parts/materials needed
Use good problem-solving skills even when something isn't clearly defined or known
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Accounting, Warehouse and Sales teams
Effectively communicate with suppliers, customers, and team members
Verify order timeliness with suppliers
Use historical data to predict part buying requirements
Work with Sales & Warehouse teams to resolve part shortages

What you’ll bring to the Procurement Specialist role:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing of products and materials
Mechanical or farm industry experience
Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
Adequate knowledge of metal fabrication processes
In depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry
Ability to effectively work in a team and with diverse customers to meet their project needs
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
Strong work ethic, integrity, and initiative
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management skills
Strong Excel, QuickBooks, ERP, and related experience
