Program Lead - Claims Platform Migration (Commercial)

What you will do as a Program Lead:
- Lead and manage the Claims Platform Migration program for Commercial membership, including small group, large group, level-funded, and self-insured segments
- Oversee all project managers and workstreams, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and with high-quality outcomes
- Define and manage program scope, critical milestones, business outcomes, and timelines in partnership with business stakeholders and product management
- Support business case development in collaboration with finance, technology, and operational leaders
- Identify and manage resource needs, aligning to budget constraints and adjusting as needed throughout the program lifecycle
- Ensure coordination across all areas including business readiness, communications, technology delivery, and process design
- Lead executive-level communications and facilitate Steering Committee sessions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Program Increment (PI) Planning and Solution Demos to drive alignment across multiple Agile Release Trains and business divisions
- Track program progress, dependencies, and risks; facilitate resolution and decision-making as issues arise
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to project managers; serve as an escalation point and unblock delivery challenges
- Manage financial aspects of the program, including forecasting, tracking spend, and resolving discrepancies
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful program execution
- Provide strategic leadership and operational insight throughout the project lifecycle
What you will bring to the Program Lead role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years managing complex, cross-departmental programs and leading teams of project managers
- Proven track record leading strategic and transformational initiatives with budgets exceeding $1M
- Demonstrated experience managing large, cross-functional teams of 10–50+ people
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and end-to-end program delivery practices
- Expertise in executive-level communication and creating clear, impactful status updates and presentations
- Strong ability to work through ambiguity and drive progress in fast-paced environments
- Excellent relationship management, leadership, and coaching skills
- Ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared outcomes and maintain focus on business objectives
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Project, and other program management platforms
- Preferred: PMP certification and healthcare experience, especially within payer organizations
