Program Manager Job Description:
The Program Manager will be leading operational and transformation initiatives in alignment with the overall vision, strategy, and goals of the organization. This includes membership and enrollment, claims, customer service, affordability, Digital initiatives, Pharmacy, Network transformation, etc., as well as additional responsibility for implementation and execution of client's long-term strategy and bringing our value proposition to life.
What you will do as the Program Manager:Â
- Ensure successful project delivery for both business and information technology stakeholders
- Effectively communicate, organize tasks, and collaborate across project teams and leadership
- Balance competing demands related to project scope, time, and budget
- Work closely with IT project managers and business stakeholders to prioritize scope items
- Bridge communication gaps between internal and external influences, ensuring timely delivery and well-maintained budgets
- Lead meetings and engage a wide array of individuals across all lines of business and Product Teams
- Manage complex projects and move them to defined outcomes
What you will bring to the Program Manager role:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business, or Public Health)
- Experience in healthcare program management, preferably with payors and health plans
- Experience building project management offices or transformation management offices
- Background in healthcare with experience working in a Payer environment highly desired
- Understanding of transformation office and project management office development
- Financial acumen and experience with business case development and budget management
- Ability to present and engage with leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
