Project Manager - Human Resources
Job Description
Location: Minnetonka, MN | Hybrid – local candidates only
Assignment Length: 6 months
Compensation: $60-65/hr W2

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven HR Project Manager to support a client’s strategic Human Resources initiatives, with a primary focus on the 2025–2026 Sales Incentive Plan. This role offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional projects, drive execution, and collaborate with key stakeholders across HR, Finance, Compensation, and Sales.
Ideal candidates are agile, proactive, and comfortable operating as both strategic planners and hands-on drivers of project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication across teams and ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
- Serve as a central point of contact for project-related information, risks, and decisions.
- Lead project meetings, set agendas, and ensure productive outcomes.
- Document and maintain project artifacts in accordance with HR and PMO standards.
- Collaborate with change management and communications teams to integrate messaging into project plans.
- Create presentations, communications, and resources to support project execution.
- Escalate and manage changes to scope, budget, or timelines, proposing solutions as needed.
- Support additional HR projects in areas such as Total Rewards, Employee Relations, and HR Operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in project management, preferably within HR or corporate environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., SmartSheet, MS Project).
- Proven ability to manage complex initiatives, resolve issues, and drive results.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Mail Merge, DocuSign, and MS Teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Executive-level presence and ability to influence across levels.
- Working knowledge of HR principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sales compensation or a specialized HR functional area.
- Familiarity with incentive plan design and implementation.
