Job Title: Project Management | Risk Control
Location: Hartford, CT | hybrid
Duration: 6 months with potential to extend/convert
Pay: $50 - $60 per hour depending on experience | W2 only + benefits

As a Project Manager within our client's Risk Control team, you will join a small, close-knit group focused on driving business-side projects and collaborating with senior leadership. This resource will work closely with the IT team to ensure successful project execution. Primary responsibility will be executing pre-existing project plans for multiple ongoing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on reporting and end-of-year operational reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
Â
- Manage project proposals and execution plans, working within established timeframes, funding limitations, and procedural guidelines.
- Establish and manage work plans for each phase, coordinating multi-disciplinary staffing, and assigning duties and responsibilities to project personnel.
- Work closely with project staff and senior leadership to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
- Monitor project activities, address any issues, and ensure accurate reporting to leadership.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for both internal management and external clients, particularly focused on end-of-year reporting.
- Organize and pull agendas for end-of-year operational reviews, coordinating schedules and meetings.
- Manage project supervisors, subcontractors, and oversee the workforce engaged in project execution.
- Ensure all documentation is stored and maintained in SharePoint or Teams folders.
- Provide technical advice and resolve any challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing multi-million-dollar projects.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely execution.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of reporting, particularly during busy periods like year-end reviews.
- Experience managing existing detailed project plans with a focus on execution.
- Background in strategic planning is a plus.
- Comfortable with presenting, communicating project status, and addressing issues with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in the insurance industry is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with document management systems like SharePoint and Teams.
