We are looking for an on-site Property Accountant to join our team! Dahl Consulting is currently partnering with a leading real estate agency in the Twin Cities area. Worksite Location: Minneapolis, MN
Compensation: $56,000-$73,000 annually

What you’ll do as the Property Accountant:

Monthly financial statement and general ledger reporting for several (10-15) properties including a monthly cash flow analysis and presentation to the Property Managers on a staggered month-end cutoff
Review and approve daily voucher approval of invoices to ensure accuracy of payments and verification within property budgets
Post daily cash receipts
Maintain the leasing database for your properties in the Property Management Module of MRI
Assist the Property Manager with annual budgets
Operate expense comparisons of actual to budget
Forecast operating expenses
Preparation of tax return work papers and operating expense escalation adjustments

What you’ll bring to the Property Accountant role:

4-year accounting degree
2-4+ years of experience in accounting
Experience in commercial and/or health care property management
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
Computer skills necessary: Word, Excel, Outlook
