This Safety Services Outreach Manager will actively lead and direct the execution of individual site safety initiatives and ensure each conforms and maintains compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as corporate policies and standards. This position will oversee the implementation of each site's comprehensive safety program specifically with the goal of reducing work-related injuries/illnesses and related costs.

- Worksite Location: Cottage Grove, MN
This Safety Services Outreach Manager will actively lead and direct the execution of individual site safety initiatives and ensure each conforms and maintains compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as corporate policies and standards. This position will oversee the implementation of each site's comprehensive safety program specifically with the goal of reducing work-related injuries/illnesses and related costs.
What you’ll do as the Safety Services Outreach Manager:
- Lead the corporate liaison program with the objective of providing direct shared service support to site leadership by acting as an advocate and strategic partner on critical safety initiatives that significantly impact safety and business goals
- Provide strategic direction and partnership to create multi-dimensional safety programs applicable to the enterprise that drive continuous improvement through innovative techniques and improve safety performance
- Oversee and conduct auditing of all site safety programs to ensure compliance with all company Safety Programs, as well as applicable government and industry regulations
- Manage the enterprise Site Safety Specialist staffing model involving; sourcing, onboarding, performance management, and structured mentoring under a matrixed work direction model to ensure business safety program success
- Actively lead and participate in the execution of individual site safety initiatives and ensure each conforms and maintains compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, corporate policies, and standards
- Influence behavior and inspire commitment with site leadership in complying with safety standards and maintaining a safe work environment
- Support major corporate strategic initiatives
- Develop meaningful safety measures that drive site scorecard performance improvements
- Direct field safety service and designated corporate safety representatives in enterprise safety outreach
- Provide work direction, site strategy, and work assignment that enables comprehensive support and guidance to site safety representatives
- Master’s degree in industrial safety or a closely related technical field
- 1-2+ years of supervisory experience
- 10+ years of EHS/Occupational health experience
- Mastery of OSHA, NFPA, NEC, ANSI, and other applicable codes and regulations
- CSP certification is desirable
