The Senior Account Executive - Employee Benefits is responsible for providing full-service account management to clients in the Employee Benefit department. This position will independently manage accounts for all health and welfare plans including medical, dental, short- and long-term disability, vision, life/AD&D, travel accident, voluntary benefits, and long-term care.

- Worksite Location: Hybrid in Douglaston, NY office
- Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000 DOE
The Senior Account Executive - Employee Benefits is responsible for providing full-service account management to clients in the Employee Benefit department. This position will independently manage accounts for all health and welfare plans including medical, dental, short- and long-term disability, vision, life/AD&D, travel accident, voluntary benefits, and long-term care.
What you will do as the Senior Account Executive – Employee Benefits:
- Maintain a high level of contact with clients and develop strong relationships
- Oversee claims and administrative issues and ensure resolution
- Act as a liaison with insurance carriers and as an advocate for clients
- Design benefit plans in conjunction with client needs and financial resources
- Process renewals, including competitive bidding, providing cost effective plan design alternatives, and employee contribution
- Prepare summary plan descriptions and other employee communication materials
- Provide clients with monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports to assess performance
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in brokerage, consulting, insurance, or corporate benefits environment
- NYS LA&H license
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
