- Salary: $145,000-$150,000 per year
- Work Location: Hybrid - NJ or NY Office
- Must have experience in Mergers + Acquisitions in the Insurance Industry.
- Must have a valid insurance license in NJ or NY.
What you will do as a Senior Account Executive:
- Work with our Private Equity partners at the inception of the transaction process, engaging the broader transaction team to establish a diligence kick-off call
- Ensure the transaction team has been granted data-room access and continuously monitor the data site(s) to ensure information is received and disseminated amongst the transaction team as needed
- Create a 3rd party insurance diligence checklist and continuously work with external resources to request outstanding information necessary to conduct diligence
- Review the insurance program of the Target Company to identify material Liabilities that would impact the Buyer's perspective on the business and expeditiously communicate the same to the Buyer
- Prepare summary comparison exhibits in Excel format outlining existing and proposed program structures from both a coverage and pricing standpoint.
- Create detailed insurance exhibits in Excel format to include pricing and exposure exhibits/comparisons, a summary of terms and conditions, and other pertinent deal information as necessary
- Construct and present consolidated findings and recommendations in a detailed written presentation for all workstreams engaged in the diligence process
- Participate in periodic meetings with the national Financial Institution/Private Equity practice fostering shared knowledge and ideas to improve our diligence capabilities across the enterprise
What you will bring to the role as a Senior Account Executive:
- 5-7+ years of experience in Property, Casualty, and Workers' Compensation coverage
- Bachelor's degree
- Completion of one or more CPCU exams is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytics and ability to think strategically and work in a highly organized fashion
- Strong mathematical aptitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Highly motivated to grow personally and contribute to the overall growth of the private equity practice both locally and nationally
