Contract Duration: 12 months
Worksite Location: Princeton, NJ

What you'll do as the Senior Accountant:

Assist accounting associates with maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts and financial records in general and cost accounting functions
Collect and analyze financial data to ensure completeness and accuracy
Support invoicing, assist in monthly status reporting, and contribute to monthly and year-end financial closings
Review and verify transactions and journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards
Ensure adherence to internal procedures and controls, with a focus on compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) initiatives
Perform account analysis and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure proper resolution
Collaborate with team members and other departments to support financial reporting and operational goals

What you'll bring to the Senior Accountant role:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience

8+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate setting

Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles
Experience with account analysis and reconciliations
Familiarity with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and communication skills
