- Contract Duration: 4-months
- Worksite Location: Golden Valley, MN
What you’ll do as the Senior Buyer:
- Lead Category Management and Source-to-Pay processes with a focus on service excellence, supplier performance, risk management, and maximizing value delivery
- Partner with cross-functional teams to manage project pipelines, advance category strategies, and oversee ongoing supplier performance
- Manage the budget and financial processes for the category scope
- Identify market risks and opportunities, considering total cost of ownership and cash flow impacts
- Foster growth through internal and external connections
What you’ll bring to the Senior Buyer role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in Sourcing, Buying, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Finance is preferred
- Strong financial acumen with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and motivate others
- Capable of building and maintaining relationships across Supply Chain, ITQ, and Operating Units
- Effective decision-making skills, with the ability to seek out necessary information and ask for help when needed
