This company is seeking a talented and eager Senior Credit Risk Manager. The Senior Credit Risk Manager is responsible for evaluating and mitigating credit risk within the organization, including the risk team's day-to-day management. You will develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to minimize potential threats and losses.

This company is seeking a talented and eager Senior Credit Risk Manager. The Senior Credit Risk Manager is responsible for evaluating and mitigating credit risk within the organization, including the risk team's day-to-day management. You will develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to minimize potential threats and losses.
What you’ll do as the Senior Credit Risk Manager:
- Develop policies, processes, and procedures associated with credit risk and the evaluation of creditworthiness
- Complete project financial/risk analysis by assessing the risk of the Mechanical Contractor, General Contractor, and Owner including the determination of public or private financing
- Understand bond and lien rights by state and evaluate project risk accordingly
- Work with sales teams and assist contract manager with review of customer terms and conditions
- Manage bankruptcy and legal issues
- Train all new credit staff in all areas of risk management
- Collaborate with internal and external business stakeholders to implement effective risk management strategies
- Provide final credit approval of all equipment orders
- Monitor the hold status of open orders
- Negotiate with customers and/or reps to secure payments before filing liens, working with legal experts on complex cases
- Bachelors Degree
- 6+ years of experience in financial risk management or related field
- 5+ years of direct professional experience in credit including experience with bond and lien law and applicable filing processes
- 5+ years of experience leading people in a management role
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
